On this site, you'll find YAPET (Yet Another Password
Encryption Tool) that stores your myriads of passwords in a secure
fashion and runs on many Unixes. You might like the other applications I

If you're new to the world of Unix and feel uncomfortable with a
command line, take a look at the Unix
Survival Guide. Written for beginners, it gives you a good overview
about the most basic Unix commands and other Unix topics. It treats the
various Unix flavors equally and thus is suited for FreeBSD, Sun
Solaris, and Linux operating systems.
Users of Solaris 10 may want have a look at the Solaris 10 packages
ready for download in the Solaris Packages section.
Be sure you don't miss the online tools. The ping and portscanner utility served me well on several
occassions.
